THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE SINGS
Written by Francesca Emms, Directed by Adam Macaulay
Bats Theatre, 2016
Bayfair Theatre, Tauranga, 2015 / Kokomai Festival, 2015
The “unashamedly populist, uplifting and joyous celebration of song” is the work of Wellington sisters Georgia Jamieson Emms and Francesca Emms. Written by Francesca and performed by Georgia, the show draws on the sisters’ childhood experiences growing up in a musical family and their deep love for Julie Andrews and the characters she portrayed. These are a Few of my Favourite Sings
features music from Mary Poppins, My Fair Lady, The Boyfriend, The King and I and of course, The Sound of Music.
"...Jamieson-Emms articulates [Julie Andrews'] style perfectly with clear, precise diction and excellent singing range. Her relaxed, easy-going manner on stage belies her considerable musical experience, which shines through in all the songs."
- Ewen Coleman, Dominion Post, December '16
"This show is in no way a send-up, except of Georgia herself, in a gently self-deprecating way. Amid the relaxed telling of the story of her fixation with Julie, Georgia's exquisite soprano voice faithfully honours Julie Andrews' qualities."
- John Smythe, Dominion Post, December '16
MOZART'S COSI FAN TUTTE
Directed by Jacqueline Coats, Musical Director Bruce Greenfield
Touring production 2016
“Cosi fan tutte” is one of Mozart's best-loved and most scandalous operas, a battle of the sexes, in which two sisters, already engaged, find their heads being turned by a pair of intriguing foreign gentlemen.
"...cleverly crafted arias, in English I might add, which left the audience in fits of laughter. It seems surprising to walk away from a show and suddenly realise a single piano and six voices were what filled the theatre with Mozart's musical stylings for close to two hours. Stunning classical voices and the exaggerated facial expressions, you only truly appreciate in live theatre, kept the audience, both young and old, with a smile on their face."

"...Wanderlust Productions created a seamless Sondheim-style production that was uniquely their own while at the same time preserving the integrity of the composer. There is only one way to describe this production and performance – classy and deeply satisfying."
- Winifred Bull, Cabbage Tree Vineyard Martinborough
NOEL AND COLE

Kokomai Festival 2013
"The full house sign was up...this youthful group pulled it off for a modern crowd with their excellent singing and harmonies, mischievous facial expressions, quick mood changes, an atmosphere of fun, energy and stereotyped passion while always maintaining their respect for Coward and Porter."
- Jo Hills, Taranaki Daily News
